Ethics
Editorial ethics.
How we stay independent, choose products, and keep our reviews honest and useful.
Our editorial approach
Every article starts with a real question readers are asking. We research, test, and write with the goal of giving you a clear, confident answer — not to please brands or maximise commissions. Our editors have final say over every word that gets published.
How we choose products
Products appear in our guides because they solve a problem well, not because a brand asked us to include them. We consider expert reviews, user feedback, specifications, price history, and availability. We update our picks as the market changes and better options emerge.
Affiliate links and independence
Inteqnect uses affiliate links. When you click through and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never influence what we recommend, how we rank products, or what we say about them. We do not accept sponsored reviews, paid placements, or free products in exchange for coverage.
See our affiliate disclosure for more detail.
Corrections and updates
We correct factual errors as soon as we become aware of them. When a correction changes the meaning of an article, we add a dated note at the top or bottom of the page. We also periodically revisit guides to replace discontinued products, update prices, and reflect new testing insights.
Product testing and research standards
Where possible, products are tested hands-on by editors for at least two weeks in real conditions. When we cannot test directly, we combine deep specification analysis with aggregated user and expert feedback from trusted sources. We always state whether a review is based on hands-on testing or desk research.
Contact us about a correction
If you spot an error or think we've missed something important, email us at hello@inteqnect.com. We read every message and aim to respond within five working days.
