1. Who we are
This website (the "Site") is operated by Inteqnect ("we", "us", "our"). We are the "data controller" for any personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@inteqnect.com.
2. The law that applies
We are based in the United Kingdom. We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
3. What we collect
We may collect the following personal data:
- Contact data — your email address and the contents of any message you send us.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
- Account data — if you sign in to the Site, we store the email address you registered with.
4. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- Respond to messages you send us.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
Our legal bases are (a) legitimate interests in running and improving the Site, (b) performance of any agreement with you, and (c) compliance with legal obligations.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences (such as light/dark mode). We do not currently run third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and request consent where the law requires it.
6. Affiliate links
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. When you click them and make a purchase, the retailer may share information with the affiliate programme so a commission can be attributed to us. We do not receive your payment details. Each retailer has its own privacy policy that applies once you leave the Site. See our affiliate disclosure for more detail.
7. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Site — for example our hosting, database, and email-delivery providers. They process data on our instructions and are bound by appropriate contracts. We do not sell personal data.
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent mechanisms.
9. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, or for as long as the law requires. Email correspondence is typically deleted within 24 months unless we need to keep it longer.
10. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw any consent you've given.
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@inteqnect.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
